The Art Commune is a residency and project workshop for the promotion of
Alternative Photography and international exchange. Its principal focus is
an international residency program to which artists from various disciplines
around the world are invited to live, work, collaborate and exhibit during
the residency period. The goal is to offer artists: studios, time, and
resources for pursuing their range of expression, for experimenting, for
developing projects, while working and living in a global village
environment.

Lying between Shivanasamudra falls and Mekedatu falls is Bheemeshwari, in
Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary. This place is around 100Kms from Bangalore, a
perfect Trekking spot where nature has created a natural habitat for the
Mahseer fish and a variety of exciting animals. Bheemeshwari in Mandya
district is an ideal place for viewing wildlife and a relaxing holiday.
Adventure Camp @ Kemmannugundi Hills
20th & 21st February 2010
A major hill-station in Chickmagalur District, Kemmannagundi is also called
KR Hills, named after the Wodeyar, King Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, Mysore, who
made it his favourite summer camp. Kemmannagundi is a single, secluded hill
surrounded by sprawling coffee estates, waterfalls and ornamental gardens.

Nagarahole is derived from the combination of two Kannada words 'Nagara'
meaning snake and 'Hole' meaning streams and true to its name a number of
streams snake through its rich tropical forests. Nagarahole is situated in
the picturesque districts of Kodagu and Mysore in southern Karnataka.

BANDIPUR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - (Area 874.2 Sq. Kms). Bandipur is situated in
Chamarajanagar Dist, Karnataka Stat, at a distance of 217 Kms. From
Bangalore with a good approachable road. The Maharaja of Mysore created the
Bandipur game. It is now a National park since 1973, and is brought under
Project Tiger.
