P D Sathish Chandra

P D Sathish Chandra is a MS in Mass Communication and a freelance communication consultant.  His experience in performing arts dates back to college days when he played an active role in theatre. 

Slowly his interest grew into passion and he was into mainline theatre stream with his group Fourth Corner.  His standup comedy act was revisited and he started acting in mainstream amateur Theatre.  Few illustrations & pictures are HERE. 

In Dec-Jan 2008 he acted in his career best Kutty Srank with Legends of Malayalam Cinema - Shaji N Karun and Mamooty.  This movie also was first movie of Big Entertainment in Malayalam, first ever time a lady cinematographer Anjali Shukla and starred as father of actress Padmapriya <PHOTOS>. He also acted as a Comedy Villain in Pooja Gandhi & Sunil Raoh's upcoming Minugu - directed by Anthony Jaywanth <PHOTOS>.  Both movies are to hit screen in May 2009. He has also acted with Johnny Lever (VIDEO HERE) in controversial "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" and as a roadside Romeo in "Aa Dinagalu" Kannada Movie.

He is known for his comic portrayals and for his role as Madana in the comedy series "Yakhingadtaro" on ETV Kannada.  He has more than 15 years of theatre experience and also has acted in TV and Films predominantly in the Kannada language.  His modelling experience varies from TV spots, voiceover's to hoardings.  He was also an RJ with Radio One for one year hosting a real time retro show.
